How can I transfer my hosting to you with no down time?

It is possible to transfer your hosting to us without suffering any downtime, please follow these instructions...

  • Do NOT change your domain name servers yet...

  • First signup for a hosting account with us, you will be able to access this immediately and upload your web site using your usual software.

  • In your signup email you are provided with an instant access URL - you can use this to check your web site and make sure it is all working as required.

  • You should also setup any email accounts you require via your online control panel with us

  • Once you are happy everything is configured as needed on our servers you should go to your domain name registrar (the company your domain name is registered with) and change your name servers to point to those listed in your welcome e-mail.

  • When you have updated this, the changes will propagate around the world, this *can* take up to 72 hours.

  • After 72 hours you can be sure that the DNS changes will have propagated, at this point you may want to check your old hosts mail servers to pickup any email that was delivered there during the propagation.

  • Now you can delete your OLD hosting account.

If you have any problems or questions please let us know.
