How do I install or update Xen Tools on a Linux VPS?

Login to your VPS as root (or use "su -" from a user account).

Enter the following commands:
# mount -o ro /dev/xvdd /mnt/
This will mount the Xen Tools DVD Image into your /mnt directory. If this does not mount the DVD or you see an error please raise a support ticket
# /mnt/Linux/install.sh
This will run the script to install/update the Xen Tools, press 'y' to Continue with the install.

Once the software has been installed you will need to reboot your VPS to activate the changes.
# reboot
Once the VPS has been rebooted you will be using the latest tools and kernel which will optimise your VPS.
