To transfer a gTLD domain to another registrar:
- Update the contacts through the client portal at https://manage.discountdomainsuk.com/ click "my domains, list" then "view/edit/manage".
- Wait 60 days for the mandatory lock on updates to release.
- Unlock the domain in the client portal.
- Request an EPP transfer code ("Management Actions" for the domain in the client portal).
- Supply the code to the new registrar and follow their instructions.
- Acknowledge the automated release process emails which you get *after* the gaining registrar approval process starts
- Wait upto 5 days for the registry to move the domain
